What do you feed your toddler?

My twin boys are 17 months old,  and have been eating the Gerber rice cereal and oatmeal mixed with fruit since they were little.  Now they don't care for it, which isn't surprising to me.  I am running out of ideas to give them for breakfast.  They don't really care for pancakes, Andrew isn't supposed to have eggs until he is around 2 (had a reaction to them around 1). They both like yogurt, which I give them, but I don't know what else to give them?  TIA

My son loves waffles, french toast sticks, peanut butter on toast or you can do a variation if they can't have peanut butter, muffins.   I do cereal like cherrios or krispies in a little bit of milk.   He loves it.

Thanks! I haven't been brave enough to let them try to eat cereal with milk by themselves. they do better with a fork then a spoon. I'll give it a try!

Try to think outside the "breakfast" box. It's not set in stone that breakfast foods have to be what we have all grown used to. Any food can be breakfast. Try something that you would normally have another time of the day.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

My little man is 15 months old. He LOVES sliced apples for breakfast, gobbles them right up, and I usually do dry cereal along with it, so he can eat it himself. I've given him broken up pieces of donuts and mini bagels before too with cream cheese, and toast with jam, he loves them all. I'm bad, and I tend to feed him things that he can feed himself, just because of my laziness

Thanks! I usually do give them some kind of fruit in the morning also.  I try to give them food that they can feed themselves, makes them much happier!

Josiah is an eater and I am so thankful he eats just about anything. For breakfast we give him mini waffles, bananas, pineapple, toast (with butter or all natural jam) yogurt, applesauce, regular oatmeal... he even ate quiche once. Hope that helps!

Thanks!  Logan and Andrew used to eat anything you put in front of them, I think it is the start of independance for them, they just started not eating some things.  They still have a good range of food that they will eat, which is a good thing!  I haven't tried the regular oatmeal yet, maybe they will like that.
